Curling is a sport played by sliding stones on ice sheets.
Curling is a team sport and recreational game played between two teams of four players each on a very flat ice surface.
In this game, one of four people throws a heavy stone weight, called a “stone,” toward a target point, called a “house.” The throw is scored based on the distance the stone travels to the house at the end of the path (the shorter the distance, the higher the score). The other team members can change the speed of the stone by sweeping the path, changing the surface of the stone’s path, so that it stops at the shortest possible distance from the target. Each team has eight throws, and the team with the most points at the end wins.
